Thought For the Week:
Be as unyielding and unbending as you are attentive and responsive to the
immeasurable worth of every present moment that God brings across your daily
path.

Thought For the Week:
If we remain close to Jesus, the critical problems
that forcefully call out our names
will resolve themselves.
Scripture Verse:
Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand
of God that He may exalt you in due time.
I Peter 5:6

Thought For the Week:
A question for today - "What is God wanting to
accomplish by allowing these certain things
to happen to me?"
Scripture Verse:
The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One will save; He will rejoice with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with signing.
Zephaniah 3:17

Thought For the Week:
For a follower of Jesus Christ, Faith is not just trying something new for a season, nor is it
grabbing the first exciting thing that comes along.
It is the result of a determined heart-shift toward the Truth and the Light of the Gospel message.
Scripture Verse:
We walk by faith and not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7

Thought For the Week:
The LORD is always faithful.
Scripture Verse:
It is better to trust in the LORD
than to put confidence in man.
Psalm 118:8
May 29, 2015
Thought For the Week:
Even while we are in a very dark place,
the gift of joy is ours by receiving it and opening it
through faith in Jesus Christ.
Because of the sinless nature of Jesus, and
His total obedience on the cross, we have everything
that He gave to us through that obedience:
Him giving us all things as a result of the love of
the Father, Who first gave all things
into the hand of Jesus.
Scripture Verse:
These things I have spoken to you,
that My joy may remain in you,
and that your joy may be full.
John 15:11

Thought For the Week:
What a blessing that God's Word resonates
so specifically for the survivor of abuse and trauma.
As survivors, we know what it is to feel like we are losing
our life, as we venture farther and farther into the
bottom of the pit of death that was fashioned for us by
our abusers. To know The Healer, our God, is life itself:
He not only brings us out of the pit, but He heals us
when we cry out to Him. God is always faithful,
no matter what, over and over again...His Word says so!
Scripture Verse:
O, LORD my God, I cried out to You. And You healed me.
O, LORD, You brought me up from the grave;
You have kept me alive that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalm 130: 2-3
May 15, 2015
Thought For the Week:
We learn God's perfect order from Jesus in Scripture:
first the Spirit of God descends; then God's
anointing (blessing, protection and empowerment)
falls by grace; followed by preaching the Good News;
and lastly, healing is brought forth in the physical manifestation of His glory all around.
Scripture Verse:
The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because the LORD
has anointed Me to preach Good Tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted...
Isaiah 61:1
May 8, 2015
Thought For the Week:
We are the Righteousness of God in Christ;
made so by Him!
Scripture Verse:
The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom...
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable.
Proverbs 10:31-32
May 1, 2015
Thought For the Week:
With a past history of victimization,
as much as we defend against any leaning toward our own personal sin, it is our own hand that builds
the barrier against ourselves toward a
lethal form of self-victimization.
Scripture Verse:
He who covers his sin will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
Proverbs 28:13
April 24, 2015
Thought For the Week:
When we just can't seem to get enough of life,
it is Jesus Who will always fill that void and
satisfy us, if we would but ask Him.
Scripture Verse:
I have been crucified with Christ;
it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
Galatians 2:20
April 17, 2015
Thought For the Week:
When we are strong in the LORD, we are strong.
Scripture Verse:
Therefore, since we have this ministry,
as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.
II Corinthians 4:1
April 10, 2015
Thought For the Week:
We can rejoice in the LORD for the good news
that one day there will be no more sorrow!
Scripture Verse:
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
Revelation 21:4
April 3, 2015
Thought For the Week:
As holy and beloved of God, we are charged with
the issue of offering forgiveness to friends;
and with the help of the Holy Spirit,
it is possible for each one of us to
wear the character of Jesus.
Scripture Verse:
As the elect of God…put on tender mercies, kindness,
humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another.
Colossians 3:12
March 27, 2015
Thought For the Week:
Approaching a challenge with a friend, the best
way to respond is to view our life together with our friends in terms of how Jesus lived and died for us so that
our mutual intimacy might be complete and satisfying.
Scripture Verse:
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.
And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
I John 3:16
March 20, 2015
Thought For the Week:
What a blessing and a confidence that it is
the LORD Who is the One Who has guaranteed our direction in life; and that it is always good.
Scripture Verse:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which
you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Psalm 32:8
March 16, 2015
Thought For the Week:
No matter how much we plan and do for others,
if the bond of love is not present in our heart,
all of the things we do are in vain (unproductive, hopeless, futile, worthless, proud and self-important).
Scripture Verse:
But above all these things (tender mercies, kindness,
humility, meekness, longsuffering) put on love,
which is the bond of perfection.
Colossians 3:14
March 6, 2015
Thought For the Week:
When our hearts are fully after the heart
of the LORD, and will only conceive that which is agreeable and pleasant to God, then God will give His stamp of approval and His blessing over
every heart's desire which is in us.
Scripture Verse:
May He grant you according to your heart's desire,
and fulfill all your purpose.
Psalm 20:4
February 27, 2015
Thought For the Week:
The joyful thrill of waiting on others
is found in the deep-seated awareness of exactly
Who it is that we are really waiting on.
Scripture Verse:
Let them do good, that they be rich in good works,
ready to give, willing to share...
I Timothy 6:18
February 20, 2015
Thought For the Week:
It is good to consider ~ believe, think about, mull over, reflect on, ponder, respect, care about ~ all
of His ways toward us.
Scripture Verse:
May He grant you according to your heart's desire,
and fulfill all your purpose.
Psalm 20:4
February 13, 2015
Thought For the Week:
What a wonderful way to put one's heart at ease
any time of the day: to acknowledge that God will never lie to us, never embarrass us, never walk away from us, never set out to destroy us. And in the end
He has decreed that we will be conformed into
the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Scripture Verse:
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the
fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our LORD.
I Corinthians 1:9
February 6, 2015
Thought For the Week:
Choosing to love others as Christ loves us can be a challenge. But when we put it into His hands
and into His heart, which are then in us,
the challenge seems to melt away.
Scripture Verse:
These things I command you,
that you love one another.
John 15:17
January 30, 2015

Let the healing happen
before misfortune takes place.
Scripture Verse:
For you are all sons of God through
faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:26
January 23, 2015
Thought For the Week:
Jesus is the original proprietor of all of the miracles, blessings, restorations and provisions that He
bestows upon us. And, He is also the final and steadfast resolver of all those matters which prompt us to call upon Him in the first place (or in the last place!);
resulting in the many precious benefits that He holds,
waiting and wanting to give to us.
Scripture Verse:
Trust in the LORD with all of your heart and lean not
on your own understanding; in all your ways
acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
January 16, 2015
Thought For the Week:
We usually marvel at how God can possibly be
wherever we happen to be, and at the same time,
also be wherever another person happens to be;
the truth is that because He is everywhere all the time,
it is we who are in His presence, rather than Him
being in our presence, no matter where we happen to be.
Scripture Verse:
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present
nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other
created thing, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
January 9, 2015
Thought For the Week:
The way of an openhanded and charitable spirit,
which bridges the gap for others,
always brings peace and plenty in return
to that one with the joyful heart.
Scripture Verse:
He who has a generous eye will be blessed,
for he gives of his bread to the poor.
Proverbs 22:9
January 2, 2015
Thought For the Week:
By stopping the reel and rush of life, we have the place
and the purpose of hearing God's voice to us
by the mere fact that we are finally and suddenly
still before Him; and then, taking note, we can expect
His promises of sanctuary, protection and
confidence in the contentment of the issues of life.
Scripture Verse:
But whoever listens to Me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.
Proverbs 1:33
December 26, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Lifting our voice up to the LORD at the break of day is a precious gift and a beautiful occasion and opportunity that we have been given by God to reconnect
with The One Who loves us most.
Scripture Verse:
My voice You shall hear in the morning,
O LORD;
And I will look up.
Psalm 5:3
December 19, 2014
Thought For the Week:
The birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated at this time of year,
is the birth of The One Who was announced,
presented and confirmed by God to be our Savior, Redeemer, Deliverer and Returning King;
and so much more.
Scripture Verse:
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by God through the prophet saying,
'Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son,
and they shall call His name Immanuel,'
which is translated, 'God with us.'
Matthew 1:22-23
December 12, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Together we worship, together we wait on God
and together we have joy: for the privilege bestowed on each one of us by God Himself, to present ourselves
to the LORD of Hosts together in one accord.
Scripture Verse:
I was glad when they said to me,
'Let us go into the house of the Lord.'
Psalm 122:1
December 5, 2014

The joy in our hearts that resonates with God's
blessing is born out of His divine affirmation
and acceptance of us, His children.
Scripture Verse:
The Lord lift up His countenance upon
you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:26
November 28, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Contentment rests not in our own plans, plots and schemes, as so often happens; but true contentment remains wholly balanced in the expression of the Creator as He moves through us in light of His Word to us.
Scripture Verse:
He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
Proverbs 16:20
November 21, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Especially in the darkest, most perplexing places of
our lives, our Trust in the LORD God Almighty in the midst of it brings His way and His purpose
right into the center of that darkness; making us bright and light in sharp contrast to, and in spite of,
the shadowy and mysterious gloom
that often times describes our physical circumstance.
Scripture Verse:
For the Lord God is a sun and a shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
Psalm 84:11
November 14, 2014
Thought For the Week:
I am a Child of the Most High God, and having
been given the knowledge to discern the unproductive and barren gains of evil, am kept protected from
the participation of honoring, supporting,
approving or covering-up such evil.
Scripture Verse:
Let no one deceive you with empty words,
for because of these things,
the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:6
November 7, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Even though God does not always answer us
when we think He might or should, He does keep His promise to answer, to be with us, to deliver us and to honor us . . . in His time and in His way; not ours.
Scripture Verse:
He shall call upon Me and I shall answer him;
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver and honor him.
Psalm 91:15
October 31, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Because it is Christ Who gives the strength,
the things that He requires of us can be met with His excellence and His worth, with no limitation in
facing obligations, trials, temptations and persecutions.
Scripture Verse:
I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
October 24, 2014
Thought For the Week:
There is never a reason to underestimate our
trust in the Lord . . . never a need to be disappointed in our reliance on God . . . and never an occasion to
regret our need of Him . . .allowing us
to approach the Rock of Salvation fearlessly
and confidently, without worry.
Scripture Verse:
In You, O LORD, I put my trust;
Let me never be put to shame.
Psalm 71:1
October 17, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Being strong in warfare in the spiritual realm requires
the wearing of God's battle armor that is not to be removed until the battle is all finished.
Scripture Verse:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord
and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:10
October 10, 2014
Thought For the Week:
Do not conceal the righteousness of God
from your midst by denying the power of His Spirit.
In the end, who else will come to your aid?
Your own self?
He, the LORD God Almighty, is the only One Who
is that will step forth regardless of our plight, to
repair, rebuild, make well and to bring back.
Scripture Verse:
'For I will restore health to you,
And heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD.
Jeremiah 30:17
October 03, 2014
Thought For the Week:
When we mistakenly push ourselves to be
strong in our own strength, we are actually in the
deepest place of our own weakest condition.
Our tested and true strength can only be lasting,
fruitful, useful and valuable when it is God's strength
moving through us; and thereby, we are being lifted
into the heavenlies and sustained by His grace.
Scripture Verse:
Beat your plowshares into swords,
and your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, "I am strong."
Joel 3:10
September 26, 2014

Scripture Verse:
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our LORD.
Romans 6:11
September 19, 2014
Thought For the Week:
The LORD's unwavering faithfulness is designed
for this assuredness: no matter how high the wave of the enemy is against us ~ coming slowly at us from afar
or descending down upon us with great strength and terror ~ the wave of the LORD for our safety
and rescue is always, always higher, wider and deeper.
Scripture Verse:
So they shall fear the name of the LORD from the west,
and His glory from the rising of the sun.
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the
Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
Isaiah 59:19
September 12, 2014
Thought For the Week:
My confidence, my trust, my hopefulness, my assurance, and my authority rest on the Word of God and not on
my feelings or on the opinions of others about me or
my circumstances; past, present or future.
Scripture Verse:
Though an army may encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war may rise against me,
in this I will be confident.
Psalm 27:3
September 5, 2014

When I have a consistent and direct line of communication with my Father in Heaven in all things, where in my heart it has all been settled, there is
no fear of death; the fear of death has been
conquered by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Scripture Verse:
The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1
August 29, 2014
Thought For the Week:
God is my chosen best friend, the one I run to for
cover; the one I run to when I seek the protection of a buffer against all that assails me, because I trust
Him never to fail in His own word to me.
Scripture Verse:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

My God, in Him I will trust.'
Psalm 91:1-2
August 22, 2014

toward the benefit of others; and what a blessing that
God is the One Who brings the needy across our path, showing His good pleasure in providing,
healing, delivering and rescuing.
Scripture Verse:
For you, LORD, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the work of Your hands.
Psalm 92:4
August 15, 2014
Thought For the Week:
The blessing of the Lord is sufficient to bring
God's abundant riches into our lives,
and at the same time it is also
sustainable enough and expandable enough
for us to give it away to others over and over again.
Scripture Verse:
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:6
