Be as unyielding and unbending as you are attentive and responsive to the immeasurable worth of every present moment that God brings across your daily path.

A question for today - "What is God wanting to accomplish by allowing these certain things to happen to me?"

The LORD is always faithful.

What a blessing that God's Word resonates so specifically for the survivor of abuse and trauma. As survivors, we know what it is to feel like we are losing our life, as we venture farther and farther into the bottom of the pit of death that was fashioned for us by our abusers. To know The Healer, our God, is life itself: He not only brings us out of the pit, but He heals us when we cry out to Him. God is always faithful, no matter what, over and over again...His Word says so!

We are the Righteousness of God in Christ ;made so by Him!

If we remain close to Jesus, the critical problems that forcefully call out our names will resolve themselves.

For a follower of Jesus Christ, Faith is not just trying something new for a season, nor is it grabbing the first exciting thing that comes along. It is the result of a determined heart-shift toward the Truth and the Light of the Gospel message.

Even while we are in a very dark place, the gift of joy is ours by receiving it and opening it through faith in Jesus Christ. Because of the sinless nature of Jesus, and His total obedience on the cross, we have everything that He gave to us through that obedience: Him giving us all things as a result of the love of the Father, Who first gave all things into the hand of Jesus.

We learn God's perfect order from Jesus in Scripture: first the Spirit of God descends; then God's anointing (blessing, protection and empowerment) falls by grace; followed by preaching the Good News ;and lastly, healing is brought forth in the physical manifestation of His glory all around.

With a past history of victimization, as much as we defend against any leaning toward our own personal sin, it is our own hand that builds the barrier against ourselves toward a lethal form of self-victimization.
